STARR’s story began in entertainment, not dining.
Before the restaurants, there were comedy clubs, cabarets,
and concert halls. The earliest spaces hosted acts like Jerry
Seinfeld and U2. By the late ’80s, they were producing shows
for stadiums—Madonna, George Michael, and more.
From the very beginning, the instinct was the same:
